Home of champions and committed public service
DepEd, Division of Cavite Province, located in Trece Martires City, is one of the biggest divisions in Region IV-A CALABARZON. It serves a broad network of elementary, junior high, and senior high schools across Cavite Province.
The Division is recognized as the home of champions, with achievements in various competitions bringing pride and honor to the province and its external stakeholders, including provincial and local governments.
With more than 200 Division Office personnel, DepEd Cavite Province continues to extend responsive and professional services to schools and communities.

A continuing legacy of education leadership
Cavite as one of the provinces of the Philippines
By virtue of Commonwealth Act No. 2711 dated March 10, 1917, Cavite was announced as one of the forty-two provinces comprising the Grand Division of the Philippine Islands.
Original office in Cavite City
The Department of Education, Culture, and Sports – Cavite was originally located inside the compound of Ladislao Diwa Elementary School in Cavite City.
Cavite City becomes an autonomous division
Cavite City was declared an autonomous division headed by Jose Bernal, Principal of Cavite National High School.
Transfer to Brgy. Luciano
The Schools Division of Cavite Province was transferred to Brgy. Luciano, Trece Martires City, and served municipalities and cities across the province.
Creation of autonomous divisions
Dasmarinas became an autonomous division in 2010. Bacoor and Imus followed in 2013. In 2018, the Schools Division of General Trias was established and separated from the province.
