SDO Cavite takes pride in its various accomplishments “Para sa Batang Caviteño” covering programs and projects that addressed areas of focus such as access, quality and governance during the last few years.
Sustainability of the programs to ensure progress is a necessity. However, adjustment and alignment to the current realities necessitates the review and improvement of some deliverables in order to keep the relevance and be a contributing partner of the department. This is so because DepEd is now shifting its focus from access to quality as embodied in the acronym KITE, i.e. K to 12 curriculum review; Improvement of learning environment; Teachers upskilling and reskilling and Engagement of stakeholders. Likewise, CALABARZON Pivot 4A QuBE also focuses on improving the quality of basic education in the region
With the bandwagon focused on quality, SDO Cavite conceptualized a holistic program focused on improving the quality of education program delivery through KABITENYO – an enumeration of the activities that it will undertake in the next three years to support the quest for better education outcomes.
