The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Cavite Province launched the Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) – Public Assistance Action Center (PAAC) to ensure safe, smooth, and orderly reopening of classes in all public schools for school year 2022-2023.
The launching of the OBE-PAAC, a command center composed of personnel from the different divisions of the agency, is in consonance to the yearly OBE of the Department of Education (DepEd), with the theme: “Kapit-bisig para sa Mas Ligtas na Balik-Aral”, which ran from August 1 to 26, 2022.
Bannering its division mantra ‘Serbisyong Pang-Edukasyong Tapat at Sapat para sa Batang KABITENYO,’ a total of 27 were assisted through open communication such as call, text, and social media interactions.
Public schools in the division also setup their own OBE-PAAC or help desk to handle immediate assistance to the public by answering queries, concerns, complaints, and clarifications about resumption of classes.
Meanwhile, DepEd Cavite also conducted BUSINA (Bridging Unity through Systematic Information campaign in the Neighborhood and Advocacy to the Community) Kabitenyo version 3.0 on August 22, simultaneous with the nationwide class opening to feature the readiness of schools in the division and to provide up-to-date information on enrollment and happenings on the first day of the school year.
BUSINA is a live event broadcasted in the Official Facebook page of DepEd Cavite showcasing the information from the Top Management and selected Education Program and District Supervisors relative to OBE Task Force, enrollment data updates, curricular and co-curricular updates, psychosocial support, special curricular programs, and Alternative Learning System.
Moreover, the division also organized monitoring team composed of Top Management, CID, and SGOD personnel delegated to visit schools in order to check the status and provide necessary technical assistance in response to the encountered challenges and difficulties.
